Crispy savoury snack




Ingredients:

All purpose flour (maida)- 2 cups
Oil to moin flour- ¼ cup
Oil for deep frying
Ajwain (carom seeds)- ½ tsp
Coarsely Grinded Black Pepper- ½ tsp
Salt- ¾ tsp


Method:

-Take all purpose flour, ajwain, black pepper and salt in a bowl and mix it well.

-Add oil in the flour mixture and rub it with the flour until it turns into crumbly texture.

-Now prepare a semi hard dough by adding water little by little.
-Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.

-After 30 minutes knead the dough (ate ko ache se masal le) and divide the dough into 4 equal parts.

-Now take one portion and start rolling it like thick roti.

-Meanwhile on other side heat the oil in the pan for frying.

-Now cut the roti into small stripes and add the stripes in the oil once it is hot.

-Fry it until it turns golden brown.

-Repeat the process for other three portions.

-Let the namak pare completely cool down before storing.

-Serve this crispy savoury snack with tea
